Robey Favoring Two
By

The age old saying dynamite comes in small packages is exactly the case when referring to Frostproof’s Nickell Robey. Don’t let his small size fool you at only 5-8, 170-pounds, Robey is one of, if not, the fastest players in the state of Florida for the class of 2010.
Robey has run as low as 10.6 in the 100-meters and excels in the triple jump and long jump. He not only projects at corner at the next level but wants to play on the defensive side of the ball in college. He is a big-time prospect that was one of the most impressive to come through the
Florida
camps this past summer.
“I have been to a few Florida games this year and each one was more impressive than the last," Robey said. "I want to visit
South Carolina
and
Georgia
as well. I want to go to the game in Jacksonville if I can get tickets.”
The speed merchant from Florida has three factors he will use to determine his college decision.
“In this order I would say playing time, education and environment are the three main things that I will look at moving forward.”
Frostproof is 5-1 on the season in large part due to what Robey has been able to accomplish not only on defense but the offensive side of the ball as well.
“On the year I have two interceptions and 10 touchdowns and speed is my greatest ability.”
While Robey doesn’t have a time table in mind he does know the two teams out in front.
“I am not sure when I might announce but
Virginia Tech
and Florida are the teams that I am looking at the most right now.”
Other teams that could get in the mix before it’s all said and done would be
LSU
,
West Virginia
,
Notre Dame
,
Michigan
,
Miami
, Georgia, South Carolina and
UCLA
.
