Jenkins and Brown Could Have Quick Impact

The Florida Gators return most of the nucleus of their 2008 National Championship team. Although the Gators recruited very well, there are very few freshmen that will be called upon to play in 2009. However, there are two that could see the field early in Gainesville. Gary Brown and Jelani Jenkins are two of the best at their position in the class of 2009 and arrive on Tuesday.

On an 11-hour ride from his home in Maryland, Jelani Jenkins spoke with us on Monday. The nation's No. 1 weak side linebacker, Jenkins is approaching his freshman season with a great attitude. "I just want to get better," Jenkins said. "I don't really have any expectations I just know I need to work hard."
