Demps Wants to Keep Winning

The Florida Gators will likely lean on sophomore running back Jeff Demps a little more this season than they did in 2008. As a true freshman, Demps had a lot to learn and the Gators were busy utilizing the skills of receiver Percy Harvin both in the passing and running game. This year, look for Demps to have a reverse role as he will run the ball, but also get some time in the passing game.

At 185 pounds, Jeff Demps isn't intimidating looking, but if there is one thing we saw from the dynamic playmaker last year, it's that he isn't afraid to run through a pile to get where he has to go. However, it is his breakaway speed and his ability to leave defenders in his wake that make him a special talent.
