Pop Saunders really looks the part before you see him on a football field. Then the DeLand cornerback starts playing the game of football and he surpasses any thoughts you might have had on how good he can be. Saunders was in Gainesville with his DeLand teammates on Saturday competing in a Fellowship of Christian Athletes tournament. He spoke exclusively to us about his future as a Gator.

Pop Saunders plays the game of football so easily, it is a bit scary. The University of Florida was in on him early in the recruiting process because they knew this about the electric cornerback/receiver.

Saunders has a senior year of football to play at DeLand before making it to Gainesville, but that doesn't mean he isn't chomping at the bit to be a Gator.

Here is our exclusive interview with Saunders during the tournament day on Saturday.
