Video: Durkin Keeping it Quiet with LBs

D.J. Durkin

Don't expect Florida linebacker coach D.J. Durkin to be too forthcoming with a linebacker depth chart any time soon. In his first year at Florida, Durkin isn't willing to name a single starter at linebacker and is in the process of rotating the positions in order to get the best three players on the field on Saturdays.

D.J. Durkin talked to the media on Monday and was very noncommittal about any of the three linebacker positions Florida fields in the defense. He talked well about the group and knows he has a very talented, athletic, and especially fast group of linebackers.

Darrin Kitchens was the first freshman linebacker Durkin was willing to name, but he also said the entire freshman group has done some good things in their first three days of practice.

Here is Florida assistant D.J. Durkin talking to the media Monday afternoon. Recommended Stories
