Boynton is Definitely 'On Guard'

By any measure Kenny Boynton had an outstanding first season for the Gator basketball team. Boynton led the Gators, scoring 14.0 points a game and was second on the team with 92 assists. He finished the season on a personal high note, scoring 50 points in tough losses to Mississippi State (23) and Brigham Young (27).

While he made just 29 percent of his 3-point shots on the season he knocked down half of them (9-for-18) in those contests. Kenny Boynton said he expects to play a lot more point guard this season as he takes some of the ball handling load off Erving Walker.
