Behind The Scenes: Waisome Commit

We are always trying to do new things here at Fightin' Gators and this will be a first. Groveland Southlake cornerback Nick Waisome committed to Florida last week on national television. The commitment was kept under wraps until it went live, but Laura McKeeman was granted special access to capture before, during, and after commitment video.

Laura McKeeman, with camera in hand, captured Nick Waisome arriving at the television studio, the family in attendance, the tense time leading up to the national television spot, the spot itself, and the fun after the spot was aired on ESPNU.

McKeeman then interviews Southlake head coach Walter Banks along with Waisome himself after the announcement. This is a rare look at what goes on during one of these national television announcements and we think you will like the candid look.
