Benjamin Anticipating Daytona

Daytona Beach Municipal Stadium will be home to a great challenge Saturday for Belle Glade Glades Central as they meet Dallas Skyline in a preseason match up between the two national powers. A huge factor in the game will no doubt be receiver Kelvin Benjamin, all 6-6 and 215 pounds of him. Fightin' Gators talked shortly with Benjamin Friday night about what he is expecting tomorrow in Daytona.

Kelvin Benjamin is the subject of some big time recruiting wars, but this weekend and this month it is all about his team and performing at the highest level. Saturday he looks to make a name for himself and at the same time for his team to show up strong.

“I'm hoping to get some one handed grabs tomorrow,” Benjamin told Fightin' Gators. “That's going to be good stuff. I can't wait to just play and show everyone what I can do.”

Benjamin expects his team to come out fired up and focused and ready to put on a show.

“My team looks good and I think we can dominate,” he said. “It's cool that so many teams and people will be there.”
