The University of Florida is set to officially host four of the nation's best players for the LSU game weekend. It's a small group of official visitors, but the Gators are going to be busy as a bounty full of top prospects will also be in the stands to see two top SEC teams square off. FightinGators.com has the most comprehensive visit list for you right here.
There will likely be many more prospects that we don't have names for, but we have assembled a pretty solid list of visitors for the LSU game weekend for the Florida Gators. At the top of the list are four solid , if not spectacular visitors that will be here on official visits for the weekend.
| LSU Game Official Visitors |
| Kyle Koehne | Indianapolis (IN) Cathedral | OL | Watch Video | | | Breakdown: Says he will make a decision soon after this visit. The Gators have really stepped up their recruitment of him since the rash of injuries to the offensive line and they knew they needed to take more. Koehne was the first one they turned to and will likely play center if he chooses the Gators. | | Kyle Koehne Profile | |
| Nick Kasa | Broomfield (CO) Legacy | DE | Watch Video | | | Breakdown: Kasa is a big time player and was once thought to be high on the recruiting board but seemed to disappear. Now he is back with a vengeance and taking an official visit. Kasa came to camp and certainly passes the eyeball test as he looks like he is ready for an NFL career. | | Nick Kasa Profile | |
| Branden Smith | Atlanta (GA) Washington | CB | Watch Video | | | Breakdown: Smith is another one that kind of disappeared and now is coming in for an official visit. He tried to visit earlier in the year and for whatever it didn't work out. A big time player from the Peach State, Smith will get to see the gators' defense front and center Saturday night. | | Branden Smith Profile | |
| Marsalis Teague | Paris (TN) Henry County | CB | Watch Video | | | Breakdown: Teague looks to be the highest cornerback that looks the most likely for the Gators at the moment. A while ago he was down to Florida and Miami and although he has a few teams still on the radar, the Gators seem to be the front runner. | | Marsalis Teague Profile | |
There is a bevy of talent that will just be coming in for the game. It is a big mixture of four and five-star prospects that would have any recruiting coordinator envious.
| LSU Game 2009 Class Unofficial Visitors |
| Mike Gillislee | Deland (Fla.) | RB | Watch Video | | | Breakdown: Excellent run pass threat from the backfield or in the slot and has the size they are looking for in a back. Gator commitment and should be his third game to see this year. | | Gator Commitment | Mike Gillislee Profile | |
| Lonnie Pryor | Okeechobee (Fla.) | RB | Watch Video | | | Breakdown: FSU commitment coming up for the game. Also liked LSU a lot in the process. A big time running back with great size and vision. He isn't explosive, but he knows how to play the game. | | Lonnie Pryor Profile | |
| Andre Debose | Sanford (Fla.) Seminole | WR | Watch Video | | | Breakdown: Has been a constant at the top of the entire recruiting board. He is a huge play maker. This will be his second visit to Gainesville to watch the Gators, the last one being when the Gators defeated Miami 26-3. | | Andre Debose Profile | |
| Jamal Patterson | McDonough (GA) Henry County | WR | Watch Video | | | Breakdown: Stanford commitment that is most likely just taking in the big game. He says he just wants to make sure that Stanford is the right place for him so he will be visiting a few college games this year. | | Jamal Patterson Profile | |
| Greg Reid | Valdosta (GA) Lowndes County | ATH | Watch Video | | | Breakdown: Dynamic play maker having a huge senior season and a devoted Gator commitment. Reid is now being recruited to Florida as an offensive athlete and he could serve in the Brandon James mold as a kick returner too. | | Gator Commitment | Greg Reid Profile | |
| Orson Charles | Tampa (Fla.) Plant | TE | Watch Video | | | Breakdown: Big time TE still looking at UF and can see the Gators use their TE's. Charles is the best athlete at the TE position in the country and one the Gators among other top programs really would love to have. | | Orson Charles Profile | |
| Nick Alajajian | Naples (Fla.) | OL | Watch Video | | | Breakdown: Nastiest OL in the class and he's all Gator. Alajajian dispelled any rumors about Miami earlier this week after attending the Miami-FSU game a week ago. | | Gator Commitment | Nick Alajajian Profile | |
| Jon Halapio | St. Petersburg (Fla.) Catholic | OL | Watch Video | | | Breakdown: May be the most ready to step on the field as a freshman with his size and strength. He has been a staple at the games so far this season and is having a terrific senior year from what we have heard. | | Gator Commitment | Jon Halapio Profile | |
| Jared Wheeler | Plantation (Fla.) American Heritage | OL | Watch Video | | | Breakdown: Beast of a lineman that grew up a Gator fan and has been to every home game. Wheeler continues to do the right things as the season rolls along. | | Jared Wheeler Profile | |
| Gary Brown | Greensboro (Fla.) West Gadsden | DT | | | Breakdown: Just got confirmation Friday that Brown will be in attendance and he has only missed one game all year. He was the Gators' second commitment on the year and is a big time talent in this 2009 class. | | Gator Commitment | Gary Brown Profile | |
| Dyron Dye | Sanford (Fla.) Seminole | DE | Watch Video | | | Breakdown: Wasn't sure if he would be here as of late Thursday, but with his teammate Debose coming, I think he will make it. Dye looks to be heading elsewhere at the moment, but a night in The Swamp can have an effect on people. | | Dyron Dye Profile | |
| Jon Bostic | Palm Beach (Fla.) Central | LB | Watch Video | | | Breakdown: Making another trip to Gainesville which is at least his fourth since the spring of this year. Bostic is a big time linebacker and one of the top two on the board for the Gators. It might be time for the gators to put the full court press on this one. | | Jon Bostic Profile | |
| Dre Kirkpatrick | Gadsden (AL) | CB | Watch Video | | | Breakdown: Maybe the nation's number one cornerback, Kirkpatrick is also making a return trip to Gainesville like so many others. He was here for Friday Night Lights back in July where he was a star. The Gators would love to swing this one, but it appears the Crimson Tide is going to be too much to beat for his services. | | Dre Kirkpatrick Profile | |

On top of all of these prospects, the Gators are already heating up the recruitingtrail with three commitments for the 2010 class. Florida will also be hosting several of the top names from 2010 for the LSU game.
