| Rainey has several exceptional attributes, most notably his speed and quickness. He can start and stop and then explode. Rainey is shifty with excellent vision and even better balance. He is at his best in space and once there become very dangerous because he can make you miss, run right by you and leave you grasping for air after he makes a move. Rainey will run between the tackles and then try and bounce it outside. |

Chris Rainey is a shifty runner with outstanding quickness and good straight ahead speed. His great balance makes him run bigger than he is, because he is so hard to knock off of his feet. Could play running back, wide receiver, or defensive back on the college level as well as return man.
