| Hernandez can beat you in a few different ways and pose some serious match up problems for a defense because of his size, speed and athleticism. To be honest with you, he kind of reminds you of a talented tight end prospect from a few season’s ago Vernon Davis. hernansez is one of the top athletes in the nation. |
| Biography: |
| Caught 67 passes for 1,807 yards and 24 touchdowns. On defense he recorded 72 tackles, 42 tackles for loss, 12 sacks, three forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries and four blocked kicks. Hernandez was named first team All-State and has earned All-Conference honors two straight seasons. He was named the Hartford Courant Player of the Year.
Hernandez set state records with (1807) yards, touchdowns in a season (24)and most receiving yards in a game (376) on nine catches, which is the (7th) best single game total in National High School history. Hernandez set a National High School record for yatds receiving per game (180.7). he tied a state record for career touchdown receptions with 31.
