| 2006: Appeared in every game with nine starts and led the team in rushing with 798 yards and 6 TDs. In Georgia’s last two regular-season wins against #5 Auburn and #16 Ga. Tech, had 39 total carries for 156 yards. Career-high 105 yards on 21 carries in road win over #5 Auburn. First career 100-yard game in win at Ole Miss (13-for-101 yards). Career-high five catches for 43 yards against Vanderbilt. 14-yard TD catch from Matthew Stafford in road win over #5 Auburn. Team went 9-4 including a Chick-fil-A Bowl win. Recipient of Statesboro Bulldog Club Football Scholarship.
2005: Appeared in all 13 games with 335 yards and 3 TDs. Came back against Boise State in the season opener and tallied his first touchdown of the season against Louisiana-Monroe on an 18-yard run. Led the Bulldogs in rushing with 74 yards against Georgia Tech. Career-long 34-yard TD run against W. Virginia in the Sugar Bowl. Participated in spring drills without contact. Recipient of Statesboro Bulldog Club Football Scholarship. Part of 10-3 SEC Championship team.
2004: Suffered knee injury on first day of pre-season practice forcing him to miss entire season. Outstanding spring being named Most Improved Running Back. Carried eight times for 43 yards in spring game. Team went 10-2 capped by an Outback Bowl victory.
2003: Played in 12 games as true freshman and finished as team’s second leading rusher with 523yards on 112 carries. After missing the first two games of the season with a hamstring injury, emerged as one of the Bulldogs’ top threats out of the backfield. Georgia’s leading rusher against Alabama, Auburn, Georgia Tech and LSU in the SEC Championship Game. Scored seven TDs (five rushing and one receiving) to tie Michael Cooper for team-high TD honors...broke free from a pile in the middle of the line to scamper 22 yards around left end for Georgia’s final TD in the win at Tennessee. 16-yard TD on third-and-goal against Auburn put the Dogs up 19-0. Only Bulldog to rush and receive for a TD in the same game in 2003 when he did so at Georgia Tech. Earned first career start in Capital One Bowl victory over Purdue (27 carries, 90 yards, 1 TD) and scored game-winning TD in overtime. Had five receptions for 34 yards. Part of 10-3 SEC Eastern Division Championship team.
High School: Stephenson High School, coached by Ron Gartrell. Four-year starter and rushed for 2,088 yards during his junior season and 1,456 yards with 15 touchdowns as a senior. Member of track team that earned a state title during his junior year.
