| Stripling is a big athlete that can get to the quarterback well from the backside as well as drop into coverage in the flats. He has great feet, great range, and his ceiling is extremely high. Strength is a weakness of his as is size. He needs to gain weight and strength to go up against offensive tackles in college, but he is going to be a speed rush guy on the weak side, so him gaining just 25-30 pounds will be good. - Chad Simmons |
| Biography: |
| T.J. Stripling finished his junior season with 75 tackles and 15 sacks. He says he can bench 325-pounds.
Stripling reports a 3.1 core GPA and a 1290 three-part SAT.
Stripling: “My biggest strength is my speed coming off the line. I’m good with my hands and Im strong too. I like to play fast and I never go slow. My motor never stops.
“I still want to get stronger. I want to get my legs stronger and be more explosive.
“I also want to get more physical and work on stopping the run better.”
