Vikings WR Percy Harvin was named the NFL's rookie of the week for the second straight week in fan voting at NFL.com. Harvin earned the award this week for his performance against the Green Bay Packers on Sunday, when he had five catches for 84 yards and a touchdown and averaged 35 yards on five kickoff returns, including two inside Green Bay territory.

Biography:
How acquired: Was the 22nd overall pick in the 2009 NFL Draft and the fourth receiver drafted.

College: Started 26 of 36 games played, rushing for more than 1,500 yards and receiving for more than 1,500 yards. The only player in Florida history to have 100 yards rushing and 100 yards receiving in a single game. Helped Florida win two BCS National Championships. Set school records for most career yards rushing by a WR (1,852) and the most rushing yards in a season by a WR (858 yards in 2007). Had six games with 100-plus yard rushing and 100-plus receiving. Had 32 TDs (19 rushing, 13 receiving) in three seasons. Earned All-America and All-SEC recognition all three years at Florida. 2008 AFCA Coaches’ All-America Team selection as a specialist. 2007 Biletnikoff Award semi-finalist and Sporting News first-team All-American. 2006 AP SEC Freshman of the Year and Freshman All-American. Scored a TD in each of the last 15 UF games he played in, a streak that led the nation. Led the nation with a 9.4 yards-per-carry average. Had a team-leading 17 TDs, averaging a TD every 6.5 touches

High school: Parade All-America as a senior at Landstown High in Virginia Beach, Va. Selected to participate in the U.S. Army All-American Game. Rivals.com 2004 National Junior of the Year. Is the only athlete in Virginia history to claim five gold medals at the state track meet. Finished his prep career with 75 catches for 1,313 yards with 14 TD receptions. Captain of varsity basketball and football teams.
