Reed Just Wants to Play 'Football'

Jordan Reed isn't ready to be pigeonholed at one position just yet. The quarterback turned tight end turned quarterback-tight end is starting to get a little notoriety with Gator fans because of his excellent play at quarterback late in the season. Reed threw for another touchdown Saturday, and in a weird twist, it was to starting quarterback John Brantley. He continues to work at both positions.

On the season, Jordan Reed has completed 16-of-29 passes for 180 yards and three touchdowns. He also has 186 rushing yards and five touchdowns when running from the quarterback position. A power player when he runs the ball, Reed has become a reliable part of the short yardage game for Florida. Reed is also a very promising receiver as a tight end and his 6-3, 250-pound frame and big time speed...
