Irish Land Four-star RB Bryant

Greg Bryant

Notre Dame added to its already robust recruiting class by landing American Heritage School (Delray Beach, Fla.) four-star running back Greg Bryant on Sunday.

Notre Dame's sensational recruiting class got even better Sunday morning when four-star running back Greg Bryant of American Heritage School (Delray Beach, Fla.) gave coach Brian Kelly a non-binding oral commitment.

The 5-foot-10, 205-pound Bryant, who at one time was committed to Oklahoma, made the decision during his official visit to campus.

"Bryant is a running back that runs with power behind his pads," FOXSportsNEXT national recruiting analyst Chad Simmons said. "He is someone that can run through tackles, get the extra yards after contact, and break tackles on a regular basis. He has good straight-line speed, but he is not an elusive back. He is a power guy, a straight ahead runner, and someone who can wear defenses down. He has also shown the ability to catch the ball out of the backfield."

Bryant is the second running back to commit to the Irish, joining Jamel James of Cinco Ranch High (Katy, Texas).

In Bryant, the Irish get a powerful runner with tremendous burst and top-end speed. He is ranked as the No. 14 running back in FOXSportsNEXT's 2013 class.
