Boynton works to be more versatile on offense

Boynton has struggled in recent games

The shots aren't falling for senior Kenny Boynton. He had positive momentum with a 3-for-7 night from behind the three-point line last weekend against Air Force, but it's not a big concern for head coach Billy Donovan that the shots aren't falling. The problem is where the shots are coming from. Donovan said 60 percent of Boynton's shots have been three-pointers, and he's becoming one-dimensional.

"When you're a team scouting Kenny Boynton, the first thing you're saying is that 60 percent of his shots are threes," Billy Donovan said. "He's going to have to do some different things to open up the three-point game for himself. When you become one-dimensional like that, it's easy because you're a lot more predictable to guard."
