Florida wideout picks Wildcats

Cypress Bay (Fla.) High School wide receiver Alex Montgomery announced his commit to Kentucky via the Twitter social network on Monday afternoon.

Kentucky added a big piece to its 2013 football recruiting class on Monday when three-star Cypress Bay (Fla.) High School wide receiver Alex Montgomery announced via the Twitter social network that he will play for the Wildcats.

"I made my decision and I'm going to Kentucky #BBN WELCOME," Montgomery wrote.

Montgomery (6-1, 195, 4.6) picked the Cats over Louisville and Central Florida. He also had offers from programs like Ole Miss, Wake Forest, Duke and N.C. State.
