Easley reels in another award

Senior defensive lineman Dominique Easley has been listed on plenty of award watch lists this offseason, adding another one on Monday when the Rotary Lombardi Award watch list was released.

Dominique Easley has been named to the 2013 Bednarik Award, Bronko Nagurski Trophy and Outland Trophy watch lists this offseason. The senior form Staten Island, N.Y., is also on the Athlon Sports 2013 Preseason All-SEC Team and Phil Steele's 2013 Preseason All-SEC Team.

Easley has played in 29 games and started 23 in his career. He has 67 tackles, including 16 tackles for a loss and 5.5 sacks over his three-year career. He led Florida with four sacks in 2012.

The criteria for the Rotary Lombardi Award is different than most. It is limited to down linemen, end-to-end, either on offense or defense, who set up no farther than 10 yards to the left or right of the ball. Also included are linebackers who set up no farther than five yards deep from the line of scrimmage.
