Marion-Franklin lines up with one of the top offensive linemen in the state in senior Martesse Patterson. He currently holds over ten offers, including Illinois, Indiana and Kentucky. For Walnut Ridge, junior linebacker Anthony McKee is one of the top 2015 prospects in Ohio and he now holds seven offers, including Arkansas, Illinois, Kentucky, Tennessee and West Virginia.

Friday: Mentor at Lyndhurst Brush at 7:30 p.m.
Mentor has one of the more high-powered offenses in the state of Ohio, and senior wide receiver Brandon Fritts is their best football player. The North Carolina commit has been putting up big numbers since his sophomore season. Senior defensive end Kent Berger has committed to Ohio University. For Brush, sophomore two-way athlete Jordan Overton is a player to watch in the class of 2016. He already holds an offer from Akron.

In one of the top games in the country, Paramus Catholic travels to the Midwest to face one of Ohio's top programs. Thursday: Cincinnati (Ohio) Winton Woods vs. Dayton (Ohio) Thurgood Marshall at 7:00 p.m. Welcome Stadium / TV: FOX Sports Ohio Game of the Week
The FOX Sports Ohio Game of the Week should be a great battle with two teams full of talent. Leading Winton Woods offensively is senior quarterback Shermar Hooks and junior fullback Marcus Davis. The duo has combined for 1,105 yards and 12 touchdowns in the first four games of the season behind an offensive line led by juniors George Brown and Noah Listermann. Defensively for Winton Woods defensive tackle Daniel Cage anchors the middle and is currently down to Louisville and Michigan State with a possibility Ohio State could come calling in the near future. Cage allows junior linebackers David Long and David Sparks free to make plays. In the secondary Winton Woods relies on Kentucky pledge Mike Edwards and Demetrius Suesberry to keep things in check. Thurgood Marshall will counter with a double wing run offense led by quarterback Jamahl Manley who will use all of his running backs including Michigan State pledge Vayante Copeland. On defense, Copeland is a shutdown cornerback with great ball skills capable of turning an interception into a score. He is joined in the secondary by Mike Mills and Deangelo Martin who is a tall lanky safety who projects as an outside linebacker in college. First year football player Landon Brazile made an early commitment to Cincinnati and is now picking up interest from others. At 6-foot-6, 225-pounds, Brazile has made a smooth transition to the game and has a high ceiling at the next level.

Friday: Middletown (Ohio) Lakota East vs. Cincinnati (Ohio) Princeton at 7:30 p.m. Viking Stadium, Pat Mancuso Field
Princeton is led by dual-threat senior quarterback Tyrell Gilbert who leads the Vikings with 557 yards passing and four touchdowns while also gaining a team leading 430 yards on the ground and eight touchdowns. His main target so far this season has been junior receiver Elijah Ball younger brother of former Louisville tight end Stephon Ball. Lakota East will look to run the ball behind Kentucky offensive line pledge Jarrett LaRubbio with senior quarterback Eric Eichler and senior running back Bobby Brown. Brown has been slowed with a shoulder injury but holds offers from Kent State and Ohio while also receiving interest from Pittsburgh as a linebacker.

Friday: Hilliard (Ohio) Bradley vs. Westerville (Ohio) South at 7:30 p.m.
Hilliard Bradley is coming off of a 22-0 win over Dublin Jerome and will travel to Westerville South Friday night. Setting the offense for Hilliard Bradley is senior center and Buffalo commit, Skylar Hartley. On the other side of the ball, defensive back Walker Hamilton, who had an interception in week three, will look to continue his impressive play. In week three, Westerville South had their way against Canal Winchester, winning by a score of 50-7. They're hoping that strong play from Kentucky commit Darryl Long, junior lineman Rob Dowdy, who holds offers from the likes of Arkansas, Kentucky and Louisville as well as senior wide receiver Torrodd Carter has offers from Minnesota and Kentucky will keep the team's momentum on an upswing.

Thursday: Columbus Walnut Ridge (Ohio) at Marion-Franklin (Ohio)
Junior linebacker Anthony McKee stands out on the defensive side of the ball for Walnut Ridge. Holding close to ten offers, McKee has been hearing from various other top suitors such as Ohio State and Michigan State. McKee is an elite rush linebacker and will have to be the focus for Marion-Franklin's game-plan, as he can become quite a nuisance in the backfield. Walnut Ridge junior defensive tackle Joshua Jones is another young prospect to watch. Senior offensive offensive lineman Martesse Patterson anchors an elite rushing attack for Marion-Franklin. The offensive tackle holds offers from Kentucky, Cincinnati, Illinois, and Purdue.

Thursday: Cretin-Derham Hall (MN) at East Ridge (MN) at 7 p.m.
Cretin-Derham Hall (2-2) faces a stiff challenge traveling to the second-ranked team in the Star-Tribune's Metro Poll. The Raiders are armed with one of the top junior defenders in the country in end Jashon Cornell. East Ridge lost running back Nick Leach (671 rushing yards, 11 touchdowns through four games) to a torn ACL. His replacements can be comforted in knowing that 6-3, 300-pound center J.C. Hassenauer, an Alabama verbal, is paving the way up front.

Ryan Easterling - Illini Playbook
Friday: LaGrange (IL) Lyons Township at Downers Grove (IL) North at 7 P.M.:
This matchup pits two teams who really know how to run the ball against each other. Offense isn't really an issue for Lyons. In three of their four games, they scored 35, 49, and 31, but only came away victorious in one of those three contests. On offense, junior running back Leonard Ross, who holds an Illinois offer and is receiving interest from several other BCS programs, is a big back for Lyons at 6'0" tall and 195 pounds. Downers Grove North is also a strong running team, led by junior quarterback David Edwards, who is being recruited as both a quarterback and tight end by several BCS schools. Edwards, who leads the option rushing attack for the 2-2 Trojans, stands tall at 6'6" but has no problem hitting anyone that gets in his way. On defense, North seniors Richard Olekanma (Toledo commit) and Vontae Diggs (a former Toledo commit) will be tough to contend with in the run game for Lyons. If those two have solid games, the advantage will go to Downers Grove North.

Class of 2016 running back Daelin Hayes and class of 2017 linebacker Josh Ross are among the top young prospects in the state. De La Salle is lead by Michigan commit Jared Wangler, who plays safety and receiver, but projects to linebacker for the Wolverines.
