Coming into the 2013 season, when I thought of trey Burton and his role at Florida, my mind always went to ‘wildcat' quarterback for the senior from Venice. As the season has progressed, Burton has really matured in his new position. He leads the team with 20 receptions, second with 226 yards receiving, and a respectable 11.3 yards per catch for the Gators. Make no mistake, he is a receiver now.

Trey Burton has done well against Kentucky in the past. As a freshman in 2010 he scored six touchdowns against the Wildcats. On Saturday, he led all receivers with six catches for 66 yards and a touchdown. The Gators needed guys like Burton to step up after a excruciating week where they saw their starting quarterback in Jeff Driskel and best defender in Dominique Easley go down with injury. It...
