Are we nuts? Maybe. But we've been pretty accurate all year. Randy Moore and Riley Blevins went 6-0 each last week, Danny Parker and Josh Woodward went 5-1 each.
Here are this week's picks (with season records in parenthesis):
DANNY PARKER (63-7)
Alabama State at Kentucky: It's going to feel weird typing this. Kentucky, 28-0.
Tennessee at Missouri: My opinion differs from that of fellow IT staffers from conversations over the course of the week. After seeing Mizzou on TV a few times this year, just not sure how the Vols can come close to covering their wideouts. South Carolina couldn't do it. Missouri, 45-24.
RANDY MOORE (63-7)
Miss. State at South Carolina: Two former Florida coaches collide. One (Spurrier) is fighting for a BCS bowl. The other (Mullen) is fighting to stay employed. Gamecocks, 31-17
Georgia vs. Florida (Jacksonville): If the Gators couldn't slow down Missouri, how are they going to slow down the Dawgs? Georgia, 31-20
Auburn at Arkansas: Gus Malzahn has no fond memories of Fayetteville ... but he's about to make one. Tigers, 38-21
Alabama State at Kentucky: The Hornets have won six straight after an 0-2 start. That means the Big Blue could have its hands full. Kentucky, 27-17
UTEP at Texas A&M: Johnny Football throws for 300 yards and runs for another 100 ... by halftime. Aggies, 59-21
Tennessee at Missouri: How could anyone pick a team with a first-time freshman starter at quarterback to beat the No. 10 team in America on its home field? Pass the Kool-Aid. Tennessee, 27-24
JOSH WOODWARD (62-8)
Miss. State at South Carolina: It is odd seeing Miss. State playing South Carolina. To me Miss State never plays outside of Mississippi. South Carolina expects Connor Shaw to play, so I expect them to win. 34-20 Gamecocks
Georgia vs. Florida (Jacksonville): If both of these teams were healthy it would be a great match up, but both have enough injured to be a second football team. Georgia is getting Gurley back for this game. Enough said. 33-17 Bulldogs
Auburn at Arkansas: Auburn is having a magical season, I don't see it changing this weekend. 31-28 Tigers
Alabama State at Kentucky: I had to look the line up on this one before making the pick. I think Kentucky wins, but I'm not confident. 35-10 Kentucky
UTEP at Texas A&M: Cupcake game for A&M. 52-20 Aggies
Tennessee at Missouri: Well the line is 11, but I can see this being a blowout by Missouri or a Tennessee win. I like that Dobbs is starting as it gives Tennessee a different dimension. I think the key to the game is if Tennessee can get defensive pressure. If this happens Tennessee wins. 30-28 Vols
RILEY BLEVINS (60-10)
Miss. State at South Carolina: South Carolina wins in a cake walk after an OT win against Mizzou. Gamecocks 38-17.
Georgia vs. Florida (Jacksonville): Georgia is close to being healthy again and will also be close to hitting their offensive stride. Bulldogs 24-13.
Auburn at Arkansas: The best SEC coaching hire of the offseason downs the most grumpy SEC coaching hire of the offseason. Auburn 35-20.
Alabama State at Kentucky: This will be a much closer game than the Big Blue Nation would hope for. It will also be a game I don't recommend watching. Wildcats 24-17.
UTEP at Texas A&M: Don't sleep on the Miners. Aggies 64-13.
Tennessee at Missouri: New quarterback, new life to the zone read and running game and newfound motivation following a shellacking to Alabama is a winning combination for Tennessee. It'll be close, very close. Tennessee's secondary will be tested, but assuming Brian Randolph plays, they will bend, not break. The argument for those "pro Justin Wroley folks" is the junior led the Vols to a win over South Carolina and nearly beat Georgia. In my opinion, with a decent quarterback the Vols down the Bulldogs and the game against SC is never close. Tennessee 24-21.
