At 6-foot-4 and 329 pounds of nastiness, Brandon Sandifer is the kind of road grading offensive guard that college football coaches love on their roster and would recruit a couple of in every class.
Sandifer will make one program happy on Wednesday when he publicly commits via social media at 7:30 p.m. Alabama, Florida, and South Carolina are his suitors and the three SEC schools are known for playing tough hardnosed football.
Alabama currently has four offensive guards committed in the 2015 class and are not to believe to be the front runners.
The Gators have commitments from center Tyler Jordan and tackle George Brown, while guard Mike Horton could very well be designated for the defensive side of the ball. The Gators are now believed to be the front runner for Sandifer’s services. The Gators are looking to take at least five olinemen in the 2015 class.
South Carolina seemed the likely destination just a couple of weeks ago. But things have changed with the Gamecocks currently have four offensive linemen committed.
Stay tuned to Scout and Fighin’ Gators as we will follow up Sandifer’s 7:30 commitment with additional coverage.
