Boynton is Definitely 'On Guard'

By any measure Kenny Boynton had an outstanding first season for the Gator basketball team. Boynton led the Gators, scoring 14.0 points a game and was second on the team with 92 assists. He finished the season on a personal high note, scoring 50 points in tough losses to Mississippi State (23) and Brigham Young (27).

While he made just 29 percent of his 3-point shots on the season he knocked down half of them (9-for-18) in those contests. Kenny Boynton said he expects to play a lot more point guard this season as he takes some of the ball handling load off Erving Walker. He said coach Billy Donovan wants him to do that, and he like working at both guard spots. He said he wants to improve his overall shooting...
